The Bus Controller MOD BUS Creator is designed to structuring (chopping) an entire system into small portions with an isolated local data bus in each portion. Such local sections of the data transmission bus can operate, depending on the device option, according to the RS-485 standard interface (PW-120-485 unit) or Teta interface (PW-120-T unit - Atest Gaz standard).
Industrial systems widely use communication systems based on the RS-485 transmission standard. The serial nature of the RS-485 bus networks is the reason that a critical failure at any location of the network may disable communication within the entire system. Since Gas Safety Systems are very sensitive to perfect efficiency of communication, even potential, critical or probable failures of data bus lines may be really hazardous to safe operation of the system. It is why application of devices capable of isolating any defective fragment of the network, such as MOD SEP 2 modules, is beneficial and efficient.
The ProGas 4 gas detector is specifically designed for critical functions such as measuring, monitoring and detecting hazardous gases in industrial installations.It can operate under harsh industrial conditions where environmental parameters may vary widely (high temperatures, mist and dust).
RapidGas E is a multi-channel (1 to 10 communication channels) gas detector designed to measure concentrations of toxic or explosive gases in ambient atmospheres. The measurements are carried out by means of aspiration sampling of gaseous atmospheres at several locations.
The RapidGas S device is a multi-channel (1 to 5 channels) gas detector designed to measure concentration of toxic or explosive gas in surrounding atmospheres by aspirated sampling of gas mixtures at a specific number of locations.
The ReAct 4 gas detector is specifically designed for critical functions such as measuring, monitoring and detecting reactive gases in the surrounding atmosphere, with particular emphasis on aggressive or corrosive atmospheres.
