Output interfaces enable implementation of various functions, such as control of field warning and alarm devices or a ventilation system. They can be also used to transmit information to supervising control systems. The more information is handed over from any single gas detector to external, collaborating systems, for instance control modules or PLC units, the better diagnostic properties can be achieved with more reliable detection of safety hazards and troubleshooting of the system itself. Information received from gas detectors can be used for many purposes.
