The Paldiski gas compressor station is a fragment of the large project related to extension of the Estonian gas transmission network by constructing a linkage with Finland within the project of Baltic Connector – an underwater gas pipeline connecting the both countries. The Baltic Connector pipeline is the project of strategic importance to enhance safety of energy supplies for both Finland and the EU.
The second part of deliveries are Gas Safety Systems for the Puiatu gas compressor station, which is located at the border with Latvia.
The both aforementioned gas compressor stations are components of a large project that consists in extensions of the gas transmission capacities from Poland to Finland.
Implementation of the foregoing projects shall involve the most advanced solutions offered by Atest Gaz, including:
- SmArtGas 4 Gas Detectors with Bluetooth communication, equipped with the modern FL.C gas head enabling remote calibration with no need to switch the gas detector off or to approach it for local tuning.
- LTT visual and sound warning devices that are controlled via a fully monitored RS485 transmission line to provide clear and reliable information both about hazardous situations and fault-free operation of the system (GASOK green light indicator).
